Billy Walsh is a man of many talents: designer, art director, fashion stylist and musician. And he is no stranger to PUMA. He gained industry fame with his take on the Suede, later known as the Creeper or Footwear News' Shoe of the Year. For this season, his co-creative work is based on his background growing up in Jamaican Plain, an inner city neighbourhood of Boston. As he didn't have money for fancy clothes, his style was made up of what he could find in local surplus and sports stores. Classics made with purpose reinterpreted to be worn as street statement. This shoe is a mashup of our timeless King Avanti, the lifestyle version of our famous PUMA King football boot, with the dome-shaped CELL.
